Anniversary mark

An insurance company was looking for a graphic to signify their 125th anniversary achievement and to highlight an optimistic outlook for their future. The mark needed to be able to stand alone or lock up with their current logo and be usable across a whole campaign. We came up with a few concepts and landed on “Deeply Rooted,” highlighting the rich history of the company. We wanted it to feel light and young, and it needed to live well with the other graphics throughout their website and their physical property.

I created a mark that gives a nod to the company’s deep roots and their varied “canopy” of insurance coverage, while also emphasizing the growth and potential of the ever-adapting organization. The company has a religious foundation, so I took inspiration for the style of the mark from the leaded glass commonly found in houses of worship. We dreamed up a campaign that included light post banners to be placed around the community, window clings to showcase on their office windows, and various digital uses across their social media and websites.
